Since 1999 Lingh has been competing at international dressage competitions.
In the Small Tour he achieved many top results including the gold medal at the Dutch Championship in 2002. Since 2003 Lingh and Edward have been members of the Dutch A-team.
In 2004 they had their first major breakthrough at Grand prix level. Second
place at the World Cup Finals in Dusseldorf and later they won the Dutch
Championships.
In December 2006 Lingh was sold to Karin Offield in the United States.

2011 Lingh was invited to stand at Gestut Birkhof in Southern Germany as their #1 Performance Stallion, where is located to – happily retired, awaiting visitors!
Relocated to Flyinge, The National Stud of Sweden for the 2008/09 and 2009/10 breeding seasons to rest and rehabilitate. .
In April 2008 Lingh and Karin left for Europe to rehab and see if Lingh was able to recover from the strain of injury.

February 2008, during the USA Selection Trials we came to the stable and found Lingh with a leg caught up in his blanket straps. As well as we could we tried to get him fit to compete, with not enough luck. He was always able to compete in the GP, but not in the second days Freestyle or GP Special.
