Catch all of the exciting equestrian action starting Thursday
The world’s greatest Dressage and Show Jumping horses and riders compete in Las Vegas at the Rolex FEI World Cup Finals. this is the World’s most important Equestrian competition in 2009 for the international Dressage and Show Jumping communities. Watch along side the 10,000 plus spectators in the Thomas and Mack Arena, not far from the famous Las Vegas Strip!Held annually since 1979, this premier show jumping event has been won by the U.S. 7 times! more than any other country. Competing in this year’s event will be 2008 Olympic Gold medalists McLain Ward and Beezie Madden representing the U.S., against current champion Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum of Germany and other top world horse and rider combinations. The World Cup Dressage competitions will see U.S. riders Steffen Peters, Jan Ebeling and Leslie Morse battling to unseat reigning champion Anky Van Grunsven of the Netherlands.
