WE WISH JENNY AND ZINGH MUCH LUCK, AND HOPE TO SEE JENNY AT STOCKHOLM !
Hallo!
On the 22th of June a beautiful stallion colt was born. His name is Zingh af Sol and
his mother’s name is Melody M E: Cortez-Maraton.
His mother had the best gaits points at the quality competition for 4 year old horses
in 2005. She is placed in 1,25 jumping and she has won MSV:B in dressage here in
Sweden before she was inseminated with Lingh. Her grandmother has an approved
stallion. Best, Jenny Arenblad/Stall Solglantan Sweden
“We had two Lingh colts in 2008. The first, Landmark VT, was out of a Jorn/Faram/Flamingo mare (double Nimmerdor). The mare is elegant, compact and although imported as a hunter, is a big mover when sufficiently motivated. When we showed him as a foal, Landmark was the highest-scoring entry at Dressage at Lexington (85.6% from Lilo Fore) and one of the highest-scoring horses at a USDF Breed Show in the US that year. At Devon he won his IBC and was 5th in the Regional Colt Championships against older horses. We sold Landmark as a yearling to a GP trainer in Florida who I believe has kept him intact. Obviously the colt was a great looker and a great mover, but I loved his personality and his mind. He had probably the best character of any horse I’ve bred in the last decade. A really really cool horse to be around.
Our second Lingh colt, Last Call VT, was out of a very nice Thoroughbred mare (Jovial Turn/Halo/Forli). Very elegant, long-legged and super gaits. Great motor. Not as strong a foundation as the first colt, but I am sure that was due to the mother. We didn’t show him in-hand, but he was easily Premium at his inspection, and was always the one prospective clients were drawn to. Fun to work with – always gave 120% and never took anything personally. The right combination of sensitive and forgiving. Sold him to a trainer this summer and he is being backed this winter.
We will be breeding several of our mares to Lingh this coming spring and we can’t wait for those foals! ”
Thanks to all the breeders out there that love Lingh…

We are proud to announce that after much anticipation, on November 3rd, Clingh, son of the famous stallion Lingh, arrived in the USA. He spent the requisite 42 hours in the Miami quarantine facility before being delivered on Friday November 5 to Top O’ the Morning Farm, in Wellington Florida.
Clingh is owned by Winged Foot Stables, LLC.
“Clingh, born in February of 2007, was bred in Holland by Angenita Grande, and stabled under the exquisite care and supervision of John Maarse Stables. Clingh is out of Uguletta, daughter of the well known Digoletta mare, who had a successful career as an eventer. Clingh born jet black, later morphed into a bay colt, and now, taking after his dam, is a beautiful dappled gray. He currently stands at 16.2 hands and is still growing.
Already Clingh has distinguished himself by scoring one of the higher scores in the KWPN Keurring. Up until October, 2010, he was a still a stallion. After much consideration, his handlers in Holland and new owners, decided to geld him and bring him to the United States.
Already at just a bit over 3 ½ years of age, he is quiet, happy, forward and supple under saddle. His trainers, Grand Prix rider, Shannon Dueck and Vera Renstaedt, are going to bring him along at his own pace, hopefully showing him next season in Wellington.
Like his magnificent sire Lingh, Clingh has a light, fluid movement, with a huge over reach and great forward momentum. Aside from his innate talents, what his owners and all who come in contact with him marvel at, is his gentle disposition and intelligence.
Clingh will be spending the winter seasons in Wellington, and summers in the beautiful green countryside of Vermont. We will update you as he progresses in what is sure to be a brilliant career! “
Details and photos will follow this announcement ! Congratulations everyone !
Every now and then I get moved to tears when I read something so very very cool….I just spotted this…since there is no way to respond here, like in a forum, you will just have to read the following words and imagine how proud I am of Edward.
“It’s almost identical magic with Lingh, same perfect halts, same calm, rhythmic, sympathetic performances, fabulous extensions etc. etc. You could paint Lingh black, add a bit more substance, and you have another Toto!”
Thank you Edward for bringing to our world the magic of Dressage. Love Karin and Lingh xoxox
SOMETIMES A LITTLE HELP IS NEEDED.
Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to introduce myself and offer you my services. My name is Carlos Muñoz; I am 27 years old, and I am Catalan, Spanish.
I have been devoted professionally to the horse world for 10 years. I began my studies doing a course of riding as a guide, where I discovered my passion for horses.
After that, I moved to the CAVA ( Victor Alvarez's horse training center) in Girona, where I got the degree of horse riding instructor and sports manager by the ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools) and by the RFHE ( Real Federation Spanish Riding), getting the International Passport. The next four years I was working as a classical dressage rider, training horses from foals to Saint George/ Intermediate 1. At the same time, I was the personal trainer of a group of riders who competed at national level, all in the same center (CAVA), where you can ask the manager for references. (www.cavahorse.com). I had the pleasure to accompany the international classical dressage rider, Victor Alvarez, in every sporting displacement as a stableman and right hand man.
I have attended several clinics with famous and experienced riders, such as Jack van Hulstein (Holland) and Francisco Cancela (ex-coach from Portugal). I was also working for 6 months in Stal Arends, a center of breeding and dressage horse sport in Holland, where you can also ask for references. (www.stalarends.nl).
Nowadays and from 2 years ago, I am the sports manager and main rider in CFE Sant Miquel, Valencia. (www.cfesantmiquel.com). I am competing in Saint George level/ Intermediate I with one of my horses, Oh Jazz.
I want to get new objectives, to continue doing my work in other places. I am ready to travel and stay on for an indefinite time outside my country. I want to grow personally and professionally. For this reason, I write this letter looking for a place devoted to classical dressage, competition, with future perspectives, where I can offer my services as a rider and instructor in classical dressage.I thank you for the time it took you to read this and I hope you will be interested or you know somebody who may be interested in my career and this job placement. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully Carlos Muñoz Cantos Mail: carlosmuca83@hotmail.com
In Route :
I was approaching the escalators to the baggage terminal and aside me were an older couple getting on the escalators steps next to me – the beautiful old woman suddenly crumpled and fell, over and over, down the stairs landing at the bottom in a heap – watching this, I have run down and scooped her up, then her husband began to fall behind and over her but somehow he valiantly made his way over her and me, the blood from cuts on her nose gushing onto my hands as I kept her head lifted off of the bottom of the escalator stairs still moving. The people behind them, stacking up like cord wood, putting their feet up on the ledge of the escalator scrambling out of the way. The handsome older husband still trying to help his wife. Another saving grace gal kept bringing napkins to me to absorb the blood, until the medics arrived at last. Omg.
I have survivors guilt, as I saw they looked feeble, approaching the stairs and I should have run over to their sides to assist. It seems the rubber on the bottom of her walking cane had come off, just before the descent – making the cane unusable as a crutch or a prop.
Lesson learned ? Follow your gut, help your neighbors, cry when you need to and get enough sleep because God will call on you many times….
As HST said ‘be brave comrades’ .
Love and thank you to everyone that made this amazing trip possible.
All my love, Karin
