UPDATE on the Swedish Approval of LINGH

“Last nite the AVSH – the Avelsforeningen for Svenska Varmblodiga Hasten or The Swedish Warmblood Association included Lingh in their Stallion Approvals for this season !!!

This is a summary for everyone until I can find more info and photographs to post on www.lingh.nl. I shot a lot of video that will be included on a special link for Lingh fans.

Swedish Stallion approvals 2009

The Swedish stallion approval 2009 took place this weekend in Flyinge. With snow outside and the winters sun shining, the young and older stallions performed inside the beautiful old hall of Flyinge. Three ,4, and 5 year old stallions were shown in both dressage and jumping. During the week, the young stallions are shown in hand and under saddle and also the young dressage stallions need to perform in jumping. After a week of inspection the stallions are approved for breeding. The 3 year old stallions only get a breeding permit for one year and need to be shown again next year. The older ones are approved for life and their offspring will then determine their evaluation.
The Swedish Stallion Committee also was shown a group of Performance stallions, older stallions that are presented for the studbook to be approved. For a performance stallion to get approved they need to have outstanding results in sport and also they need to pass a strict veterinary inspection and a conformation evaluation.

Lingh was the superstar of the weekend in Flyinge and he got approved on Saturday with excellent remarks on his conformation and a warm welcome was announced for this wonderful performance horse that will hopefully add a lot to Swedish breeding.
Lingh had fans from all over the country that had travelled to see him and Lingh was shown to the public on Sunday with his Swedish rider Mattias Jansson.

Lingh’s owner Karin Offield has made the decision to place Lingh in Sweden and to start a co.operation with Flyinge and this is greatly appreciated by the breeders. The warm welcome for Lingh to the Swedish breeding family was noted and several top breeders have already made reservations for their mares to be bred by Lingh. “
